I'm so happy you're here reading a little about me. I feel it is very important to know who I am, so you can feel as comfortable as possible if you choose to spend some time with me. I was raised in a small town and have always been very artistic. I enjoy anything that lets me be creative- which could be anything from painting a picture, to a home DIY project, to documenting the story you have to tell. I am the oldest sibling of 7. I am married to my best friend, Dalton. Together we three dogs, Ruger and Remi and Trigger. I am a very outgoing person and also go out of my way to make people feel loved and happy. I love meeting and connecting with people and hearing everyone's unique stories, which is why I am so passionate about photography. I love how photos make you feel precious memories that used to be the moment. Whether you want me to be your third wheel, capture your senior year, or document the love of your family, I promise to tell your story authentically. When you look back at the photos, I promise you will remember the laughs and all about the stage of life you were in- in that specific moment. I'm awkward in front of the camera... help?
Don't worry- I am too, trust me. When the camera is pointing at you, it's hard not to feel intimidated and awkward. Honestly? Everyone feels that way, but you don't need to worry. I will help pose and guide you the entire time in a way that feels natural, not stiff, or overly posed. Within the first 10 minuets, you'll forget you were even nervous.
Who do you work best with?
I work best with seniors, couples, and families who want their photos to feel natural and not overly posed. The ones who care more about authentic photos than perfection. If you're a little nervous, but still excited- that's my kind of client.
What's your vibe during a session?
a mix of calm, and hype. You are more than likely going to hear me say, OH MY GOSH- SO CUTE, 105 times! I'm NOT over exaggerating.
We start slow with more comfortable prompts that will get you loosened up, and then we just go with the flow. Once the session starts- it flies by because we end up laughing and having so much fun!
What makes your sessions different?
I am not here to just show up, take your photos, and leave. I get to know you and as much as I can about you in the short amount of time. I pay attention to how you interact, what makes you comfortable, and what feels like you. It helps me connect and that reflect in capture true genuine photos.
